Little Peanut

Well Kyleigh had surgery on Saturday at 7:30 am... I checked out of Baptist at 4:30 am... filled my prescriptions at the 24 hour pharmacy and went straight to UK to hold her. Glad I did because I had no idea I wouldn't be able to even touch her for almost two days!!

BUT... she did great. Dr. Joe Icono - her surgeon is GREAT! We really like him. Her anethesiologist was also wonderful!! She went into surgery and came back out on a ventilator. She was on that about 12 hours and then was weaned all the way off!!! We were very proud of that! They warned us that it could be several days for her to come off- especially if they had to give her morpheine... she had one morph shot- but that was it. She was a trooper!!
