So, after the dryer broke, Owen’s DVD player broke. Something instrumental to getting him some quiet sitdown time in his room. And to keep him from roaming the house at 7AM. After several weeks of being broken I finally went and bought a new one. I decided to open up the broken one and see if perhaps I could fix it before I opened the new one. As soon as I pick it up it sounds like a piggy bank, there is change in it.

I open it up and remove all the change, plug it in, and low and behold it works. So, I don’t know who makes the Disney DVD \ VCR player but it is pretty rugged to not have permanently broken from change. The total in change was $3.32. Owen was playing with money, left it down, and Ross helped pick up, pick up and put all the money away, in the DVD player.

Moral of the story is that even though things are complex, most times the solution is simple. The part for the dryer should be here tomorrow and cost $8.30 to replace.
