Well we got rained out… and as we say in the south… we didn’t just get rained… we got a “gullywasher”… it flooded! I can’t complain because we have been so dry that we really needed the rain so it was great! And the city still did our huge fireworks which is all the kids were worried about so it all worked out in the end!

Here are some moments from the day… we went for a little stroll down by Gratz Park. There is a whole row of the most beautiful historic homes that are so tastefully decorated… it is our little slice of Americana. I just couldn’t resist the photo op! Oh yeah… don’t I have THREE kids?? Yes I do… Ross decided not to nap so the minute we got in the car he was out like a light.
