This was nice of you to share; I had known both of you (and at one time was really close to Troy), so I must admit that seven-eight (is it really eight?!) years ago when I found out you were married, I was surprised. Not because I couldn’t see you together, though–I was just so out of the loop with almost anyone I went to high school with at that point that I didn’t know what was going on with anyone, let alone that any of my friends were even just *contemplating* marriage.

Anyway, congrats on over eight years together, and wishes and blessings for many more. And, Happy birthday, again, to Troy!
