You KNOW that you have been in the hospital TOO long when….
you are reading your fave forum on the computer and have the TV going in the BG and you get so engrossed in the forum reads that you forget that you are in the hospital…. then POOF…
you look up and around and realize… oh… I am still here.

Amber, I soooo know the ‘Hospital Haze” as I call it! What day is today? IS is morning or night? what season is it? all meld into meaningless questions in the Hospital Haze…. soon, soon you will be home. I know you must be so upset to be going ‘backward’ with the feeding issues (among others) and I know how you feel. When Eithene went from oral and g-feeds to just g, I was sad. Then she went from g back to straight j-feeds and I thought- what?!? this is the completley WRONG direction!!!! But, in the end it has led to the right direction, the beginning of the end of Eithene’s extreme FTT. She’s finally gained a whole pound for the first time since MAY.
I know that this will help Kyleigh too. You have been doing a great job with her- keep your chin up. You;re a great mom! I always read your blog. and as always, Ky is gorgeous.
