Ugh… I am beginning to think its just ME! I swear! When I was in high school I was a swimmer. My sophomore year I managed to tear my rotator cuff and had to have it repaired. My shoulder has never really been right since then … I always have these burning pains down my shoulder blade and at the end of a long day (mostly after weddings) I am hurting pretty bad. Usually its a take two tylenol and sleep it off kind of pain. This morning about 2 am I sat up in bed and literally there was this stabbing pain in my back that brought involuntary tears to my eyes. I tried putting a heating pad on it my shoulder and going back to sleep but by the time 7:30 am rolled around I knew that I was NOT going to be able to even drive myself to the doctor. Troy had to stay home and get the kids to the grandparents and then take me to the doc. I thought I was going to die… it was the most awful pain ever. Straight up my shoulder blade and into the back of my neck and then down the side of my arm. It was so bad that when the pain would hit I would instantly feel like I was going to throw up!!!! Friggin great.
So I see the doctor and he says that he honestly does not think its the rotator cuff again. But wonders if it has to do with me overcompensating to the opposite side in favoring my bad shoulder. Its pretty obvious when you look at my shoulders that my right has a lot more strength in it. It sits about 2 inches higher than my left (the bad one). He said that I have definitely pulled / strained / snapped something in there…. but he wants to make sure its not in my neck because the neck strains can mimic in the shoulder. So… Amber is currently hopped up on 2 muscle relaxers and 2 pain killers. I just got done taking a nap and while I feel relaxed… event through the oxycodone, Loratab, and the two others I can STILL feel the pain… its just bearable now. So… I will wait two weeks and see how this all plays out. FUN.

Well at least you get to be in the comforts of your own home.. Imagine if this had been one of Ky’s stay at Club Med…. Just picture yourself sleeping on that pull out chair.. Really hope you feel better soon.. We are thinking of you all…

Yikes…sorry to hear about your shoulder! I must say that Kevin and I are in awe of our DVD. Your talents are amazing. We have watched it over and over. America watches it too and will point at the screen when there’s someone on it that she knows other than herself. I can’t wait to share it with everyone, but on the other hand if it means America is 1, I can wait! Take care and get feeling better soon!
too cute! Glad America likes seeing herself on TV!! Kyleigh watches the movies here on the blog she thinks she is just tough stuff! LOL Thank you for the well wishes!
