So after much debate we are trying to clean Ky out. I never dreamed that she would be backed up AGAIN. I thought for sure there was NO WAY she could possibly be constipated with all that we have done to clean her out. Yet there was still the puking… STILL. Last night at 11 pm… puke. Those late night pukings are the worst… she wakes up so sleepy and covered in yuck and the only way to clean her up is a bath. So I stick her in the tub, her crying the whole way. Troy stripped and changed her bed. We get her back in bed and asleep. She didn’t poop at all last night so we were expecting today to be a hard hit. It was, of course. She had pooped 6 times before noon. She woke up horribly cranky and mad but if I were pooping every 30 minutes I would be pissed off too.

Then it gets more interesting with the fact that Ky spiked a fever today. She was up to 102 before I realized how flushed she was and gave her tylenol. I was able to get her down to 100.3 and then back down to 99.2. She stayed there the rest of the day and seemed to be feeling better. I have noticed that her cathing output has been off all day but I assumed it was because we were cleaning out and she was getting dehydrated. Later tonight I told Troy that I thought she might be getting a UTI or something but something is not right. She has been in bed since 8:30 and woke up at 10 pm screaming and grabbing at her diaper. I thought she might have pooped and maybe it was burning her but no poop. So I cathed her AGAIN (#6 today) and got our more than I have gotten total today. At least I know she is hydrating herself again. By 11 pm she was up and screaming again. Her belly is blown up huge and its pretty firm and she is up again 10 minutes later just crying. We gave her some tylenol in case her fever is coming back… or in case she is hurting somewhere… but I honestly don’t know what to do for her. I don’t know how to help her or to make it any better.

I know better than to do this but she is still crying at 11:30 pm and I am going in there to just get her and hold her tonight… its going to make for one tired and irritated mommy in the morning but at least she will get to sleep…. that is what really matters.
