Seriously… I just want to shout… GIVE ME A BREAK! Not a broken leg or arm or cracked skull kind of break… like a GOOD “catch a break” break… LOL
So tonight Ky and Ross are playing outside and I hear blood curdling “I am hurt” screaming crying… I know its Ky and considering that she almost yanked her mic key button out AGAIN today I was afraid that the third time was the charm.
Oh no… her brother had run her over with his bicycle and she had a bloody lip, cut on her chin and was dripping blood. Couldn’t figure out from where so I stuck her in the tub (that seems to be my answer to everything… LOL Constipation? stick her in the tub… bleeding… in the tub!! LOL) and as soon as her hair got wet I could see it…………………. so we are debating… ER or not? I think it could only POSSIBLY need two or three staples and I don’t think its worth that. This one is not NEAR as bad as Ross’ was…. nice eh?

Amber, when in doubt, you can “sew up” a cut on the scalp by taking a single hair from each side of the cut and tie them together in a knot, repeat as many as needed. My husband did this for my daughter when she got a cut on her head, and he’s a doctor, so I guess it’s OK!

I might do that in the AM Lynette! I just did not see it necessary to call in the troops (read- JOE) for a staple or two… LOL. And I certainly was not sitting in the ER all night. I put a butterfly on it so hopefully that is all it needed!
