If there is anything that I would not change about this whole experience with Kyleigh it is the PEOPLE I have met along the way. You have heard about the amazing doctors and nurses. The fabulous hospital staff and the great friends we have made along the way. But there is another component. The strangers. The strangers that with simple words, actions and RAKs are changing the world one family at a time…. (namely ours).
It is a true testament to the GOOD that is still left in the world!
So we know about Hannah. I am going to try and get a pic of her, Ky and Ross today… hopefully it will work out! (LOL) We all know that the has been nothing short of an angel!
Then this arrived last week:
The cutest (and amazingly well made I might add) Car Seat Cover to replace the puked on, worn out elastic one on Ky’s carseat! Ky will be riding to Cincy in STYLE this time! This came from Ky’s BFF (Emma) and her mommy Laura… in Virginia.
Then a beautiful note from Sue in Paris (Paris, KY that is… ) and a VISA Vanilla Gift Card … that will be buying some much needed bubble bath and a NEW tub of Vaseline seeing as how Ky has completely used the tub that was on her changing table to DECORATE herself and the window coverings… UGH.
Then last night while we were eating Ice Cream on the front porch we noticed a strange huge box… I mean really how could you miss it. I got the “stare” from Troy which said… “what did you buy… you know we don’t have the money for WHATEVER IT IS”… and I told her that I didn’t BUY anything… seriously! It was an amazing package from an anonymous friend in WA who sent two HUGE boxes of our favorite HUGGIES Size 4!!!!!!!!!! And it could NOT have come in a more timely manner… we were down to THREE diapers in the pink bucket and I was debating if we could make it through until we got to the hospital! They always give you diapers there! LOL I used to take my own and then I realized … I might as well get SOMETHING out of it! Huge thank you to our friend in WA (I have your mailing address… I may not know your name but I have your address!!! LOL).
And then there is our most amazing RAK yet and I have to give it its own post! I already said something briefly about it but it deserves a true blog style thank you. More pics to come soon!
