I knew that Ky had not been feeling “good” for about a week now but could not put my finger on what it was that was making her so grouchy. Sunday night she kept telling us that her BACK hurt… which I thought was strange. Fast forward to today… she has spiked a 104 fever WITH Pain meds (Tylenol Prescription strength) and is currently laying on my couch lifeless. I have been holding her since 10 am and she literally has not moved other than to cry out in pain every once in a while…

We are headed to see Megan at 3 pm and hopefully she will have some ideas. My best guess is that the course of antibiotics that we gave her for the Bladder Infection did not do the job and that the infection is back with a vengeance because her cathing amounts are down, she is once again not emptying, not staying dry between cathings and her urine is DARK.

Sigh…………. more urology stuff. Now I feel caught between a rock and a hard place… who do I even call about this? Alam? Sheldon? I am starting with Megan and hopefully it will be something with an easy answer.

Just pray that Ky can get some relief. We have had to give her major pain meds yesterday and overnight just to keep her comfortable and not screaming bloody murder. Pray that Megan can figure something out.
