Tonight I have a few orders of business in this first post and then something fun!!!
Lilie Clark
First off… It is with a heavy heart that I must relay to you that our littlest Lilie friend has earned her wings. Taken from Jen’s blog:
6:24 p.m. on wednesday September 3, 2008 Lilie Elisabeth Clark earned her wings to heaven. She was peaceful and with her mommy and daddy by her side as she took her last breath. Please don’t cry for her, as she is now free. She did the struggling for 22months, and now it is our turn to take the wheel. We love you always and forever sweet peanut.

With an even MORE heavy heart I must also tell you that another little Lily has earned her wings. On August 25th a dear little beautiful girl name Lily went home to be with our heavenly father. I never met Lily or her family but her aunt Sandra is a photographer friend of mine and Lily and Kyleigh shared an open heart surgery date. I am just broken over these losses. Every year we will celebrate our open heart day as a victory and that same day will bring pain and mourning to another family. I had so hoped it would work out differently and that our girls would grow up together conquering life and their heart issues.
Sigh…….
On another note, there is a little girl name IVY. She is half way across the globe but Ivy and her mother have changed our lives forever. When I was on a desperate search to find out about Ky’s blistering issues I happened across Ivy’s blog and her Pemphigus diagnosis. I emailed her mom Tiff and she graciously spent a very long time chatting with me about it. Because Tiff was so open with her daughter’s story and was willing to talk with me we were able to diagnose Kyleigh and save her from the long line of painful outbreaks!!! I will NEVER be able to thank them enough for that. They have given Kyleigh a gift that is immeasurable.
Now… Ivy need OUR HELP!!! Ivy’s Pemphigus is related to an Immune system disorder which also inhibits her body from being able to fight infections. Ivy is SICK and she needs help which could come in the form of a treatment called IVIG. There is someone in a big tower that has denied Ivy this life changing treatment. They simply will not GIVE them the IVIG to administer! I find this truly appalling.
