Martha has reared her head in my house again!! LOL I have never really been a huge fan of CARVING pumpkins but I love to decorate them. I made a few polka dotted pumpkin cuties and let the boys paint there own! What was I thinking allowing a 6 year old and 3 year old to have BLACK paint on my kitchen table? Lucky enough no tables were harmed in the making of these photos. And yes, all kentuckians paint pumpkins shirtless… at least when you are 3 and 6 and mom has no desire to get black paint out of clothing! Here is what ensued…

Hahhh. Here in South Dakota we decorate pumpkins shirtless too!Doesn’t work so good for the kid with a port- but perfect for my older boys. That way if the paint stains the skin and mom doesn’t have time to bath them- I just stick a shirt on them and send them to school. Who will ever know…..Lori
