My prince,
Tonight I find myself with not a lot to say. I am sitting here physically to the point of exhaustion. I keep pushing the button on my phone to see the time and I glanced over and realized that someday soon there will show a missed call from you when I push that button. Or maybe it will be a text message that says “Cheer up… I love you”. Maybe it will be a voicemail or a silly picture. Whatever it is it will be wonderful. It will, inevitably, make me smile inside and out.

For some reason today I don’t feel you as strongly as I do some days. I wonder if you are having a bad day today or if you are sick. I am running a fever again and generally feeling cruddy. If you are out there and feeling cruddy too, I hope that you are not alone. I hope that you have an amazing family like I do who are holding you up. I wish I were there to make you my patented Chicken Noodle soup (from my mom’s recipe) and my rolo cookies (which I am SURE you will love… I mean who doesn’t).

Someday soon we will both end our night tired, feeling cruddy in body but feeling totally fulfilled in knowing that we are together and perfect for each other. I cannot wait to look into your tired eyes and know that no matter how tired you are… you love me just the same. I cannot wait to look into your sick eyes and know that no matter how sick you are you love me just the same. I cannot wait to look into your content eyes and know that you love me just the same.

I am praying for you tonight. I am praying that you are healthy and content and that you can feel me… loving you even though I have no idea who you are.
