Kyleigh and I have learned a lot about GIRL power in the past few weeks. I have gained a new appreciation for the sense of accomplishment that comes from having done these things myself! I have set about accomplishing a few projects that I had really been wanting to do but had been putting off. No time better than the present right? With all of the events of the past few months my bedroom needed a makeover! So Kyleigh helped me make myself new bed linens and a new headboard!I absolutely LOVE the fabric on the center panel and wish that I had a lot more of it! I bought this fabric so long ago I don’t know if I could even find it again…. but at any rate I LOVE it!

And of course my girl was right there beside me every step of the way! Now I just need to MAKE the bed and get my three monkies off of it long enough to show you the finished product! LOLPS… the Santa looking fellow helping Ky would be my Daddy… that is another story for another day but I will just say that I have a new appreciation for him too.
