New Year’s Eve 2007 was spent pacing the floor with worry for Kyleigh and her hydration status. This year… a little different wouldn’t you say?
Yes… before 9 pm 2 out of 3 were already out cold on the couches. I had to take the moment and just savor it. Thinking back over the past year is well… hard. It just is. When I did the year end slideshow for our family last year I thought to myself… 2008 HAS to be better than 2007 was but I can honestly say that my year cannot get any better AND worse than 2008.
It was a year of tears, heartache, joy, pain and purpose. I am looking at the clock and knowing that in less than 3 hours 2009 will be here. I will never be so glad to say goodbye to a year as 2008. Sionara 2008!!!!!!!

How nice to have a quiet NYE!! One without dramas, tension and stress, one which the kids crash-but a sweet dreams crash, not a nightmare (for you) kind of crash.
