As I said I have recently found my Inner Martha if you will. I don’t know why or when it happened but I have suddenly become infatuated with cooking, cleaning, and crafting! I of course still adore photography but I really enjoyed the holiday… just being with my family, baking, having nothing better to do!

My friend Alison inspired me to buy an apron. I have never owned and apron and pretty much thought that they were for utility only. When I was baking in December I realized that I NEEDED one. I ruined TWO shirts cooking. But I cannot just wear ANY old apron. Why would one do that??

I was on the search for the PERFECT apron. One of Troy’s cousins, Emily, got an apron from Christmas that said “Domestic Diva”. It was TOTALLY cute! I needed a cute apron too!

I was shopping at Target (one of my guilty pleasures) one night … low and behold in the Spring home stuff there it WAS!!!!!!!!! Everything a girl could want in an apron… pink damask, flowers, blue and green polka dots! HEAVEN has been achieved in an apron!!! I promise you this!

So… here is my apron. When I don this apron I automatically feel like I MUST be channeling June Cleaver, Rachel Ray, and Martha all at once. I am hoping to get a sewing machine soon and make my own but for now this beautiful, poofy, girly apron will continue to keep my inner domestic diva inspired!

Kyleigh modeled my apron because evidently you cannot order it online! I would totally post the link for you guys but alas… you will HAVE to go to Target now and look for it! (I know… shoot me now!) Of course Owen had to get in on the action. Ross… remained un-phased and uninterested. LOL
