So I am switching the blog up a bit in preparation for our move to wordpress! Troy built a beautiful new blogsite for us which will be much easier to navigate and find things!
Until then I have set the music to only play when you hit PLAY. I love to listen to my own music but have to have it interrupted by music on other blogs. So… if you want to listen… its still there on the right… just press play!
Second- we have a “Followers” box. I know there are people who read this blog and never comment and I would love to know just how many are out there! Please be sure to become a “Follower” in the box to the right and you will get the feed updates on your blogger page!
I am working on a new header now. Yes… so you are tired of looking at Santa pix. I know. Its Easter for goodness sake~ I went out yesterday and got some pics of Owen (that was FUN let me tell you!) and hope to do the same for the other two in the next week! I did get some decent shots of Owen but my goodness that child is goofy! I now know why I do NOT photograph my own kids very often! I guess I think that him being a photographer’s child makes him immune to the goofiness of a normal 6 year old but it does not. Sigh………
One thing I do truly love about being a photographer is that I do NOT get bent out of shape about many things. I didn’t notice before we headed out that his feet and face were dirty. I grabbed a baby wipe from the diaper bag and did the best I could once we got to Waveland. You can see his little dirty feet in the pic but that is really ok with me. I actually like it! Its very HIM. At 6 years old he loves playing in the sand and dirty and catching worms etc. I am sure it will not be long before he is bringing home frogs and turtles. Sigh… it feels like yesterday that we were bringing him home to our little house on Mt. Foraker. As nice as our “big house” is… most days I miss my little house. Maybe its just because it was our first house together
