What a day for a SALE! I didn’t really do a huge amount of advertising as the yard sale was last minute but I did put an ad on CL and good signage and here at the blog of course and WOW… I was so impressed and TOUCHED by so many who stopped by. We had a PLETHORA of the NICU staff from KCH come by. Many of them remembered Kyleigh and I only vaguely remember those days …

It was a GREAT sale and I am happy to say we can pay OFF one of our smaller CC with the proceeds!!!! Answered prayer? I THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!! We still have an inordinate amount of STUFF left so I am listing a bunch of our bigger stuffs on CL this week and will be ebaying some of the better clothing.

I truly want to THANK everyone who came out and made this a GREAT sale for us! It was a long tiring day, I slept 13 minutes last night, I am sunburned with a nice stack of cash ready to deposit and start paying off debt! It hard to watch some of the things go but like our life, we are moving onward and upward!

The highlight of the sale was getting to love on Miss Caitlyn for a bit! She is the cutest little chunky monkey!!! Love her heart she is so cute! Her mommy got to shop for a bit until my Santa Claus dad scared her! Caitlyn and her mommy are bloggy friends but a IRL friends too. Caitlyn had a colostomy for a bit right after she was born and we were able to help them out with some technique- god knows after almost two years of a colostomy we HAD the technique! LOL

Another amazing blessing was having SO many nurses and KCH staff stop by! People who remembered Ky from the NICU and I could barely remember them! I found myself nearly in TEARS many times! Its so cool that our hospital staff continues to rally around us no matter WHAT the need!!! You just don’t find that everywhere!

We also met a new friend who was sent to us by Becca, Ben and Olivia! They are evidently friends (or family maybe) who live here in Lexington and they stopped by to score some boy’s clothes! I wish they had had more time to stay and look but hope they will come back another time!
