I still have to go to Meijer and burn up my expiring Register Rewards from the WAGS Meter deal and to Target for their weekly freebies! Ugh more shopping… I mean YAY!!!!!!!

I truly have to say that I feel that coupons are SUCH a blessing to us. I have saved an unbelievable amount of money since I started “couponing” and with us trying to become debt free it really is going a long way. I cannot imagine walking into a store now without coupons. I cannot imagine paying $7 for RAZORS like I used to. That is $7 that I will gladly spend on my paying down debt and on teaching my kids how to be THRIFTY and SAVE money!

I am also truly blessed to have so many great blog readers who send us coupons every week! It just makes my day to open the mailbox and see those envelopes! When our mail comes stuffed full of bills and medical notices those are like little pieces of mail chocolate! LOL

A few weeks ago I got an ENVELOPE… it was huge and heavy and I thought… hmmm… I opened it to find a STACK of full inserts from the Sunday paper! One of my clients’ Engagement pics had run that week so they had purchased extra papers and I was the beneficiary of the coupons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cried. Literally. Thanks Alex for making me cry! I have the BEST clients/friends in the WORLD!

Can you write about how to coupon? That would be very helpful :)

Amber: i think you should start personal shopping with people to help teach them about couponing. I have been diligently trying to coupon but i am no where near as good as you. I would love to go on a shopping trip with you and learn! Hope all is well.

I coupon and am always thrilled when I get things for free or little cost! like the toilet paper 4 packs on sale for $0.99 and $0.50 coupons that kroger doubled! although they didn’t give me the penny overage, I can live with that!

your posts definitely inspire me to look a bit harder for deals!

Wow, I am just amazed with your big purchases. I acutally calculated how much you spent on your outing. I’ve been cutting coupons from the paper but it’s tough for me to buy more than one. I stood out front and waited until the Dollar Tree opened to get a paper one Sunday. I had every intention of grabbing a bunch but other people where there to get some too and so I felt bad to hord so I just got one. I just can’t spend $2 a piece for a bunch of papers. My budget on food is $100 a week for a family of 4. That also consist of cleaning supplies needed. I wish I can print off coupons but my Lexmark printer cartridges have no ink and it’ll cost me $60 to get a set. Why does printer ink have to be so expensive? For now I’ll continue to do what I can. Also, I agree with Ashley.

How long will it take you guys to go through all that stuff? The Listerine alone would last me several years! You are for sure the coupon queen. What are register rewards and how do you get them?
