Thanks Shelby, I have been very open about Kyleigh since the start. Even on days when I don't feel like talking about it... I still do. Every week it feels like we loose another baby. Someone we know in the blogosphere, another VACTERL kiddo, another child with cancer... and it hurts. Every single one of their losses hurt. I always stop and think... that could have been my child. All over again you find yourself thankful for the gift that you have been given.

Hi. I just stumbled upon your blog today...and what a time to do it. I have been thinking of my brother that past few days. I was only 10 when he passed away. For good reason, a lot was kept from us kids on his condition and some of the procedures he went thru. I have looked and fouind a few others with this vacterl, and i only found males. And as odd as it sounds, i went to bed lastnight thinking...i wonder if this only happens to males...hmmmm. Then i run across your blog. I must say that it is nice but also bitter sweet to see another vacterl baby doing so well. You think what could have been, what should have been...oh well. The important part is that your little miss is doing so well with this! I will definatly be frequenting this blog for updates!

Shelby
