Ross’ baby room was decorated in nautical ships and I spent my pregnancy painting a huge border with this on it. I think it has served him well. He is definitely a fish and although it took him a bit to warm up to the pool this year he was the #1 fan of the Ocean.
I cannot wait to go back to the Florida. I would love to go and do nothing but sit on the beach and watch the sun rise and set over that water as the tide rolled in on my toes. There is something healing and cleansing about the salty sea air, something serene and comforting. Maybe its because I have fond memories from the time I was just a baby on the beaches of Pensacola and Navarre to the years of my teens, but I hope that my kids will grow up knowing the sound of the waves in their dreams.
