We kept noticing for the longest time that our garbage bags were being ripped open. We assumed it was one of the neighborhood cats but then noticed a SQUIRREL digging through our trash! So… we started feeding him! Hey… it keeps him out of the garbage bags! My kids absolutely LOVE to watch him come up and eat the peanuts off his green plate. They giggle and squeal with excitement. So… we named our squirrel.. Simon. He is a smart little bugger too! He KNOWS to look for the green plate! He will sometimes scurry up onto the porch and if there is no green plate he leaves. But sometimes we get to watch him enjoy a snack on us!


Check him out… I think he is kind of cute…. for a rodent! And yes I know… they are annoying and carry germs and all that but to be able to watch moments like THIS occur… I will continue shelling out those rodent meals!
