Is it just me or is that totally flippin fabulous???????  I so want to find myself some crappy wood thing on Craigslist and transform it! Alas I will add that to my growing list of “Crafty things TO DO”…

I mean really??? I know that Kara said that this is now her organization for her laundry room but seeing as how I have a laundry HOLE in a bathroom that wouldn’t work.  BUT I SO need this to make my horrendous “stockpile” room closet look better!  I can SO see those baskets full of tuna and sauce packets.  Stacked up boxes where the trashcan is…  sigh… #129834 TO DO…Recent Comments:

We have figured out that Owen wakes up WAY too early because he has inherited his daddy’s insane metabolism and it STARVING at 4 am. That also causes him to sometimes SLEEPWALK and SLEEP EAT! Nice right? So we have started making sure he gets some extra protein and filler snack before bed time and leaving him a mini meal in the morning. Most mornings its a peanut butter sandwich and a snack food along with a cup of juice with his name on it in the fridge.
Tonight I decided to make some Muddy Buddies (also known as Monkey Munch, Puppy Chow and many other things!) Basically its Chex cereal coated in peanut butter and chocolate and doused in powdered sugar. My boys (Troy included) could eat this stuff by the GALLON… and do!

So here’s a recipe for all the MONKEY fans out there! ( and just for Kevin and Jessica… this recipe has no CHICKEN in it! )

Here is how I have started leaving them snacks and drinks for the AM so that they do not destroy my kitchen trying to make themselves food.

This way they just get up and have their snack and move on about the day. They seem to be determined to get up at the crack of dawn – 6 am- Ky and I do not get up until 7:30 or 8 am so the boys do fine watching cartoons and snacking on their “lunches”. Sigh…… I am already packing lunch and they are not in school yet. At least I will be in the routine by fall. Kind of makes me sad to know that I will have two in school in the next two years.
