Yes, it took a little, shall we say, debate, but Santa Claus WAS able to attend Owen’s school Christmas (I mean… “HOLIDAY”) party!!! Owen was so excited he could have peed himself. I don’t think he was as surprised as he was EXCITED.. I mean it is pretty cool that your Grandfather is Santa! It was quite awesome to hear the excited squeals from all the kids in the classroom. After Dad was done with our class, he also visited the other Kindergarten classrooms. We hear that the first graders were very jealous
Shall we even TALK about the ornament debacle? I ordered craft kits from Oriental Trading. I ended up ordering EXTRA stuff to be able to get the free shipping and $10 off and THEN, my package arrives, TWO DAYS before the party, MINUS the ornament craft kit! Well that was the whole purpose of my order! So luckily, Oriental Trading was gracious enough to ship an alternate, overnight, to me for free. Crisis averted! Then I get ready to separate the kits and realize… there is NO WAY these things are staying together with elmers glue! So Troy and I spent 2 hours gluing each of the 35 pieces together so all the kids had to do was glue the buttons on! That was complicated enough! I am really glad we premade them or it would have been a disaster! This definitely was NOT a Kindergarten aged craft!
Our neighbor, Chloe, who also happens to sit AT Owen’s table. We thought it was hilarious to find out that our kids, who SHARE a fence line, also share a table in the SAME class! Nice huh?
Chloe’s mom… my CO-homeroom parent…See Jamie… told you it would end up on the Internet! (oooh I am in trouble!!!!!!!!!)
